Well, we've certainly waited a long time for the thrilling medieval epic IRONCLAD to finally premiere. It should open in American cinemas on July 8th! With more than stellar cast including James Purefoy, Derek Jacobi, Paul Giamatti and Brian Cox and directed by Jonathan English, the film will surely be a nice treat for all of you who like epics, especially since there aren't many historical movies this summer in cinemas!

Megan Fox and William Moseley were also supposed to star in the film, but they are not in the cast. The film is rated R for strong graphic brutal battle sequences and brief nudity. The budget of the film was modest for an epic, just $25 million! Famous Richard Attenborough had to leave the cast due to health problems. The film is set in 1215 when the rebel barons of England have forced their despised King John to put his royal seal to the Magna Carta, a noble, seminal document that upheld the rights of free-men.
