Now, you already know that James Cameron is dedicated to the development of the second and third part of his record breaking fantasy tale AVATAR, but now it seems that, when he finishes the two films, which will probably be shot back to back and released in 2014 and 2015 or maybe a year later, he might do AVATAR 4 as well and he is quitting any other production work on other people's films and on his own documentaries until he finishes the saga. It was revealed previously that AVATAR 2 will probably be set close to the oceans of Pandora, and it will be director's third film in more than 16 years! He is currently setting new visual effects pipelines since he wants the sequels to be revolutionary just like the original film was. This all means that Cameron won't do BATTLE ANGEL ALITA after all. For more than a decade he planned to do a sf epic on the female warrior cyborg after he finishes AVATAR 2, but with the new sequels it seems that won't happen.
