Marilyn Manson dated Rose McGowan. In 1997, Marilyn Manson had never met Rose McGowan in person yet but he had seen her photos/videos and he had read about her and he was very interested in her. Then later in 1997 Rose and Manson met at the entrance of a restaurant, and Rose told him: "I heard you got a crush on me". After that, they began dating. The two got engaged for almost four years. Manson's alcohol abuse and distant behavior were also cited as cause for the split. A judgment of divorce was entered in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 27, 2007.
