ALEX PETTYFER JOINS STAR STUDDED "THE BUTLER"! IS JOSH HARTNETT NEW "DAREDEVIL"? TOM HIDDLESTON IS "KING OF SOHO"! CAM GIGANDET IN "PLUSH"

According to "Deadline" the latest name to join the already star filled cast of THE BUTLER is handsome blond Alex Pettyfer. He will play
Thomas Westphall next to Forest Whitaker who plays the title role of a butler who served in the White House under many presidents, Alan Rickman as Ronald Regan, Jane Fonda as Nancy Regan, Oprah Winfrey as the butler's wife, John Cusack as Nixon, Minka Kelly as Jackie Kennedy and Matthew McConaughey as president Kennedy, with Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrance Howard, and Lenny Kravitz also in the game. Vanessa Redgrave is also in the run for one of the roles. Westphall appears early in the life of Forest Whitaker’s character and has a pivotal influence on the rest of that character’s life. And you can see Pettyfer soon in MAGIC MIKE where he will be stripping his clothes off on the stage next to Channing Tatum and other hunks.

 HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
I've recently told you that 2003. superhero film DAREDEVIL with Ben Affleck is getting a reboot to be directed by David Slade and
now, according to latest rumours, he apparently wants almost forgotten Josh Hartnett in the lead role of the blind super hero by night and a powerful lawyer by day. The script for the reboot is currently in the works. Digital Spy reports that one of our fave Brits Tom Hiddleston might play Paul Raymond, famous porn magnate in KING OF SOHO. It is interesting that the story of the porn publisher who owned half of Soho, is also dealt with in Michael Winterbottom's rival project with Steve Coogan in the lead role. Raymond's son is currently trying to legally stop Winterbottom's project.

Meanwhile, "Variety" reports that handsome hunk
Cam Gigandet, whom we liked a lot as the brave sheriff in sf action PRIEST, will star in PLUSH. He will play a psychologist who can see the inner memories of his patients. He delves deep inside the minds of his patients to help them deal with their own demons. The story intensifies when he meets a young woman (Emily Browning) who has the same gift he does. The bad news is that the director is that horrid Catherine Hardwicke (TWILIGHT, RED RIDING HOOD)
