Justin Bieber's Song "Nothing Like Us" About Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber talks about his split from Selena Gomez, opens up the song he wrote about their breakup and defends Chris Brown in a new Billboard cover story.
-->

In detail, Justin premiered the song, called "Nothing Like Us."

Bieber is struggling to cope with the end of his affair with Gomez.

"I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been," Justin is quoted as saying. "I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going."

When the interviewer comments that the track is less "angry" than it is "sweet," Bieber claims: "Because at the end of the day, there's nothing like us, you know? That's just it. It is what it is. People are going to relate to that."

Asked about all the speculation pertaining to what happened between him and Selena, Bieber responds: "There's so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories."

Bieber reveals: "I don't go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely."

It has to be mentioned that Justin won't attend the Grammys next month, but he had an interesting answer when asked whom he'll be rooting for that night.

"Chris Brown. I'm a fan. His music is really good. That's what they should focus on: the music," Bieber points out.

New Lana Del Rey Music

Just in case you wonder about new Lana Del Rey's music, Lana has already released "Born To Die - The Paradise Edition" on November 12, 2012.

The new tracks featured on the special release of her debut album include the cover of "Blue Velvet", as well as the songs "Body Electric", "Gods & Monsters" and "Yayo".

It has to be mentioned that the first half of the record is credited to Rick Rubin, Dan Heath, Justin Parker, Emile Hayne and Rick Nowels, and the second to Lana Del Rey. It is speculated that second half of the release is made up of Lana Del Rey's own video montages.

Lana Del Rey initially recorded her cover of "Blue Velvet" for an ad for clothing company H&M. Lana became the new face of the fashion brand's "LA noir" collection in July 2012 and appears in a television commercial singing the song, which has become heavily associated with cult filmmaker David Lynch's 1986 movie of the same name.

The songs included in the "Born To Die - The Paradise Edition" albums are: "Ride", "Pussy", "American", "Gods & Monsters", "Body Electric", "Blue Velvet", "Bel Air", "Yayo", "Paradise", "Tropico", "Super Games", "Surf Noir", "Dope Cinema", "Nasty."

Tori Amos American Doll Posse

"American Doll Posse" is the ninth studio album by singer-songwriter Tori Amos, which was released in 2007. Like her previous albums "Strange Little Girls" (2001) and "Scarlet's Walk" (2002), "American Doll Posse" is a concept album, which entails five female personae Amos developed based on Greek mythology. Musically, the album is a drastic departure for Amos. Having stated that the box set "A Piano: The Collection (2006)" was the summation of her previous work and the end of an era, the album symbolizes a new chapter in her career and is her heaviest, most rock-influenced album to date.
-->

In detail, the five female personae of Tori Amos in "American Doll Posse" are the following:

1. Isabel(HisTORIcal) is based on the Greek goddess of the hunt Artemis. She is a  photographer and expresses her interest in politics. She is the voice of the songs "Yo George", "Mr. Bad Man", "Devils and Gods", "Almost Rosey", "Dark Side Of The Sun". In Amo's concerts she "interpreted" the songs  "Sweet Dreams", "In The Springtime Of His Voodoo", "Tombigbee", "Virginia", "Scarlet's Walk", "Sweet Sangria", "Mountain", The Exorcist theme "Part One", the Velvet Underground song "New Age", which Amos had previously covered under her own name in 2001.

2. Clyde (CliTORIdes) is based on the Greek goddess of the underworld Persephone. In Tori's own words, she "Wears her emotional wounds on her sleeve, but remains idealistic. She is looking at the effects of not being a whole person. She is trying to figure out what she believes in and she is dealing with having been disappointed in her life." She is the voice of the songs "Bouncing Off", "Girl Disappearing", "Roosterspur Bridge", "Beauty Of Speed", "Miracle"(with Tori). In Amo's concerts she "interpreted" the songs "Little Amsterdam", "Black-Dove (January)", "Juarez", "Little Earthquakes", "Upside Down", "Mary" and the Lloyd Cole track "Rattlesnakes," which Amos had previously covered under her own name in 2001.

3. Pip (ExpiraTORIal) is based on the Greek goddess of war, wisdom and strategy Athena. She is a confrontational "warrior woman". She is the voice of the songs "Teenage Hustling", "Fat Slut", "Body and Soul" (with Santa), "Velvet Revolution", "Smokey Joe." In Amo's concerts she "interpreted" the songs "Bliss", "Cruel", "The Waitress", "Blood Roses", "Me And A Gun," "Professional Widow", "Suede", the Neil Young song "Heart Of Gold," which Amos had previously covered in 2001.

4. Santa (SanaTORIum) is based on the Greek goddess Aphrodite. She is sensual and passionate. She is the voice of the songs "You Can Bring Your Dog", "Secret Spell", "Body and Soul" (with Pip), "Programmable Soda", "Dragon", "My Posse Can Do", "Drive All Night." In Amo's concerts she "interpreted" the songs "Cruel", "God", "Sugar", "She's Your Cocaine", "Hoochie Woman", "Raspberry Swirl", "Bug A Martini", "Sweet The Sting", the Brazilian traditional song "Carnival."

5. Tori (TerraTORIes) is based on the Greek goddess Demeter and god Dionysus. It is a caricature of the artist herself, with promotional images released depicting the character holding sage and with a Bible in one hand and the word "shame" scrawled across the other. She is the voice of the songs "Big Wheel", "Digital Ghost", "Father's Son", "Code Red", "Posse Bonus", "Miracle" (with Clyde).

It has to be mentioned that as part of the marketing campaign, a series of blogs written by each character circulated on the Internet on various websites, with fans invited to "hunt" for the blogs. The blogs were updated during the tour through the end of 2007.

To conclude, "American Doll Posse" serves as Amos' third and final album under her contract with Epic Records, as Amos announced a year after the album's release that she would be operating independently of major record labels.

What do you think of Tori Amos' "American Doll Posse" album and its inspiration?

Katy Perry Christian Songs

Katy Perry was greatly influenced by gospel music. She sang in her parents church (both are preachers!) between the ages of 9 and 17. As you figure out Katy grew up listening to gospel music. Her conservative parents forbade her to listen to mainstream pop music. (Perry's mother called pop music "secular music").
-->

When she was a child, Perry attended Christian schools and camps.

As a teenager (at 15), Katy's singing in church attracted the attention of rock veterans from Nashville, Tennessee, and as a result Katy pursued a career in gospel music under her birth name (Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson).

Perry signed to the Christian music label "Red Hill", under which she recorded her first album at the age of 15. Performing as Katy Hudson, she released a self-titled gospel rock album in 2001.

Katy supported this album with "The Strangely Normal Tour", accompanied by Phil Joel, LaRue, Luna Halo, Earthsuit and V*Enna. The album was unsuccessful as the label ceased operations at the end of 2001. In 2007 Katy signed with Capitol Records and changed her surname to Perry, her mother's maiden name, because "Katy Hudson" was too close to movie actress Kate

Hudson.

Needless to say that growing up listening to mostly gospel music, Perry had few references when she started recording songs. When the producer asked her with whom she would like to collaborate, Perry had no idea.

Perry has admitted that her perspective in music was "a bit enclosed and very strict" and everything she did was church-related.

Katy told Blender Magazine that during her adolescence, she wasn’t "your typical Christian. I’ve done a lot of bad things. Use your imagination."

On the other hand, Perry revealed to the Rolling Stone magazine: "God is very much still a part of my life. But the way the details are told in the Bible - that’s very fuzzy for me. And I want to throw up when I saw that. But that’s the truth... I still believe that Jesus is the son of God. But I also believe in extraterrestrials, and that there are people sent from God to be messengers, and all sorts of crazy stuff".

Unfortunately, the Christian community didn't take well Katy Perry's decision to abandon her gospel career and become a famous pop star wearing all those sexy outfits and underwear,  not to mention posing naked...

Conclusion: Just because Katy Perry has turned into another music genre, that doesn't mean she doesn't beleive in God

Kim Kardashian's Song

In December 2010, Kim Kardashian filmed a music video for a song titled "Jam (Turn It Up)". The video was directed by Hype Williams.  Kanye West made a cameo in the video.
-->

Kim Kardashian premiered the song during a New Year's Eve party at TAO Las Vegas on December 31, 2010. The song was produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart.

When asked if an album is in the works, Kim Kardashian responded: "There's no album in the works or anything - just one song we did for "Kourtney and Kim Take New York", and a video Hype Williams directed, half of the proceeds we're giving away to a cancer foundation, because The-Dream's and one of my parents passed away from cancer. It's just all having fun - with a good cause".

 Jim Farber, writing for the "Daily News", called the song a "dead-brained piece of generic dance music, without a single distinguishing feature," and suggested that the single made Kim Kardashian the "worst singer in the reality TV universe."

Kim Kardashian wrote on her official website: "Today I premiered my song Jam (Turn It Up) on 102.7 KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest!!! I can’t believe it’s finally released! This was definitely something that was out of my comfort zone, but I’m so glad that I met with The Dream and that we worked on this project together. It was really an amazing experience recording in the studio and filming the music video and I can’t wait for you all

 to see the video".

It has to be mentioned that Kim Kardashian's song "Jam" was released on iTunes! A portion of the proceeds from the sales of Kim Kardashian's song was donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Justin Bieber "Next To You" Lyrics

"Next to you" is a R&B and pop song by Chris Brown, featuring Justin Bieber, included as a track on his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E., released on March 18, 2011.

You can check out below Justin Bieber's "Next to you" lyrics...

You've got that smile, That only heaven can make. I pray to God everyday, That you keep that smile.

(Justin Bieber)

Yeah, you are my dream, There's not a thing I won't do. I'll give my life up for you, Cos you are my dream.

(Bridge)
And baby, everything that I have is yours, You will never go cold or hungry. I'll be there when you're insecure, Let you know that you're always lovely. Girl, cos you are the only thing that I got right now

(Chorus)

One day when the sky is falling, I'll be standing right next to you, Right next to you. Nothing will ever come between us, I'll be standing right next to you, Right next to you.

(Chris Brown)

You had my child, You make my life complete. Just to have your eyes on little me, That'd be mine forever.

(Bridge)
And baby, everything that I have is yours You will never go cold or hungry I'll be there when you're insecure Let you know that you're always lovely Girl, cos you are the only thing that I got right now

(Chorus)
One day when the sky is falling, I'll be standing right next to you, Right next to you. Nothing will ever come between us, I'll be standing right next to you, Right next to you.

(Bridge)

We're made for one another Me and you And I have no fear I know we'll make it through
One day when the sky is falling I'll be standing right next to you Ohh ohh ohh ohhhhh

(Chorus)
One day when the sky is falling, I'll be standing right next to you, Right next to you. Nothing will ever come between us, I'll be standing right next to you, Right next to you.

Oh nah nah Oh yeah Stand by my side When the sky falls Oh baby I'll be there
You've got that smile, That only heaven can make. I pray to God everyday, To keep you forever.
